‘Drag Race’ reveals 18 returning queens for ‘All Stars 10’ with major format change

The RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10 cast has finally broken a franchise record as a collective entity that’s bigger than Maddy Morphosis’ Pit Stop wig.

With 18 queens returning to the competition across All Stars 10, the new cast represents the largest-ever group of contestants to appear on a single season in franchise her-story.

Now, five days into season 17 winner Onya Nurve’s new reign, production company World of Wonder and Paramount+ revealed Wednesday the full cast — plus a major new twist to the All Stars format that brings back eliminations following All Stars 9‘s exit-less edition (won by Angeria Paris VanMicheals).

Each of the new All Stars 10 cast members will enter the competition in three groups of six, with each individual group competing only within their own bracket across three episodes. At the end of each three-episode installment, the top-three queens with the highest number of points won across challenges will advance to the final round.

After that, the top queens will compete in a two-episode round of further competition, before a final lip-sync smackdown on the Grand Finale will determine the winner of a $200,000 prize and a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

In addition to the cast announcement, the show also revealed the cast bracket groups separated by color. The pink group includes Nicole Paige Brooks (season 2), Jorgeous (season 14, All Stars 9), Tina Burner (season 13), Mistress Isabelle Brooks (season 15), and Lydia Butthole Kollins (season 17).

The orange group includes DeJa Skye (season 14), Phoenix (season 3), Olivia Lux (season 13), Irene the Alien (season 15), Bosco (season 14), and Aja (season 9, All Stars 3).

Finally, the purple group features Denali (season 13), Cynthia Lee Fontaine (season 8, season 9), Alyssa Hunter (season 14), Daya Betty (season 14), Acid Betty (season 8), and Ginger Minj (season 7, All Stars 2, All Stars 6).

The All Stars 10 cast will also appear on companion episodes of Untucked, which returns to the streaming network alongside the new season.
